The Federal Public Service Commission has opened online applications for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test for CSS 2027.
Applications can be submitted from August 3 to August 20, 2026, while the MPT will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Passing the screening test is mandatory for candidates who want to apply for the main CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply through the official FPSC website and complete the online MPT application form.
The application fee is Rs. 250. Applicants must generate a 16-digit PSID and pay through available 1-Link channels, including mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs, Easypaisa, JazzCash or participating banks.
After paying the fee, candidates must return to the portal and submit the complete application. Fee payment alone will not be treated as a submitted application.
Test Centre and Admission Certificate
Applicants should select their examination centre carefully because changes may not be allowed after final submission.
FPSC will upload admission certificates on its website before the test. Candidates will have to download them online, as separate admission letters will not be sent by post.
Applicants are advised to apply before the closing date and review their CNIC, educational details, test centre and other information carefully to avoid rejection.
