The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan (MoITT) is planning to launch 20,000 online artificial intelligence (AI) training programs under the National AI Advancement Initiative (NAIAI).
The initiative aims to prepare Pakistan’s workforce for the growing digital economy by improving AI-related skills among students, professionals, teachers, freelancers, and government officials.
Who Can Apply for the AI Programs?
According to officials, the programs will target:

The courses will be conducted through a modern Learning Management System (LMS).

Ibrahim Amin, Chairman of the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), warned that AI may replace many traditional freelance jobs.
However, he added that freelancers who learn modern AI tools and technologies can benefit from new opportunities in the digital economy.
