The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an increase in scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students seeking admission to Al-Azhar University, one of the world’s most prestigious institutions for Islamic education.
According to HEC, the number of scholarships available for Pakistani and AJK students has been increased from 30 to 50 seats for the Bachelor’s Program in Shari’ah Sciences (Islamic Studies).
Scholarship Seats Increased to 50
The scholarship opportunity was communicated through the Embassy of Egypt and reflects growing educational cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt.
Under the program, selected students will be able to pursue undergraduate studies in:
- Shari’ah Sciences
- Islamic Studies
- Related Islamic disciplines
