The Balochistan Education Department has suspended 32 teachers and education staff members for allegedly participating in protests and disrupting academic activities during the provincial budget session.
According to a departmental statement, the action was taken to maintain discipline and ensure the uninterrupted functioning of educational institutions across the province.
26 Employees Face Disciplinary Action
Officials said that:

have been suspended under the:
π Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act, 2011
The department alleged that the employees actively participated in the:
ποΈ Balochistan Grand Alliance (BGA) protest movement
and were arrested by police during demonstrations held on the day of the provincial budget session.
Employees From Multiple Districts Affected
The suspended staff members belong to several districts, including:
- Quetta
- Jhal Magsi
- Kachhi
- Zhob
- Loralai
- Pishin
Officials said disciplinary proceedings against the employees will be carried out under the relevant rules and regulations.
Six More Teachers Suspended in Pishin
In a separate action, the department also suspended:

Authorities accused them of:
- Forcibly closing schools
- Disrupting educational activities
- Implementing a strike call issued by the Balochistan Grand Alliance
