Govt Approves Major Salary Increase for University Teachers

The federal government has approved a major salary increase for university teachers serving under the Tenure Track System (TTS).

According to an office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance, the revised TTS Pay Package 2026 has come into effect from July 1, 2026.

The new salary structure applies to Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors working under the TTS system in universities.

New Salary for TTS Professors

Under the revised pay package, the salary scale for TTS Professors has been increased.
